CCDSS Announces New On-Line Job Application System

Cumberland County Department of Social Services will be launching an online job application system. The new system called NEOGOV Insight will improve the hiring process for applicants, human resources staff, and hiring officials. Applicants can quickly apply online for vacant positions available for recruitment.  Additionally, applicants can track the status of their application and be notified when positions that they are interested in become available.

Effective March 15, 2013, to be considered for any vacant position, you will need to submit an on-line application through NEOGOV.

Personal e-mail accounts are required to apply.  Free e-mail accounts are available through providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL. 

*Note: County employees must use a personal email account and not their county assigned email address when applying for positions.

To get started and to prepare ahead, go to governmentjobs.com and select “Career Seeker” to setup an account with a username and password to create your application.
